Maple Apples

Looking for a great winter treat? Try this easy apple recipe.

1. Peel and slice 1 or 2 apples per person. 2. Place in a pan (best with a castiron pan) 3. Add a a few pads of real butter 4. Drizzle maple syrup on top 5. Simmer on low heat until the apples are soft or toss in the oven for about 30 min at 400 6. Spoon into bowls and enjoy, it's excellent with a bit of vanilla ice cream on top.

Save left overs in a glass mason jar. When ready to have again bake in the oven or microwave to enjoy.
